I JUST installed Ubuntu 10.4 after my WinXP crashed. This is my first Linux.

I need to key ALTERNATELY between Hangul and English and later Japanese and English for language training purposes (e.g. creating flash cards).

Is there any SINGLE-CLICK or key-combination entry that would enable me to switch back and forth?

I've installed SCIM and Korean and Japanese language support, however when I go to

System > Administration > Language Support, although I see Korean and Japanese checked, they are greyed-out.

I've JUST dragged Hangul to change the order of preference and it is no longer grayed-out, but constantly navigating through System > Administration > Language Support is WAY to cumbersome for what I need to accomplish!
