Hello Forums of Ubuntu, best distro yet I think.

here we go.

1. How do you replace the audio icon on the top right? I accidently hit remove from panel, and am unable to find these items in the list. Im prolly not the first, so this could be helpful to others.

2. When in applications, the icons are very cellphoneesque.
Can I remove them and have text only?

these maybe nub questions, but it probably does come up. I would like the look of having no icons in the top menues, especially in applications, not urgent of course and its not a critical issue.

Ubuntu 10.04 is great, if anyone wants to brag about how awesome it is feel free to vent here

thanks guys :D

If you want change the toolbars to text. Hit ALT+F2 and type in

gconf-editor
Then Click desktop, gnome and interface.

Go down and find toolbar_style and change it to text.

Hope it works for you :)
