Im a fool when it comes to linux. I tried every tutorial i could find, but each one is ment for someone who knows how to use Linux.

My issue is, my virtualbox guest is in 32-bit, but linux is in 16-bit and its causing issues. How do i change it to 32-bit?

Please, if you can give me a detailed fix i'd be gratefull.
I'm running Ubuntu 10.04.

you are probably running the free open source generic drivers, that come with ubuntu, ubuntu cannot package proprietary drivers, but they do offer a way to install after via the net,

goto system> administration> "hardware drivers" make sure you are online.

see if there are any graphics card drivers available,

this should fix your problem

cheers
