Geforce Go 7700

Okay I am running 10.04 on my laptop with the Geforce Go 7700. I have the latest nvidia driver installed from the hardware installer tool. However as opposed to ubuntu 9.10 I find my graphics to be laggy. Any suggestions as to which video driver might work better?

Well, there is the nuevo (thats not spelled correctly) driver, but i can't imagine it performing any better than the nvidia driver. I think your problem lies elsewhere, but i don't have any idead as to where to look.

When does the graphics lag? When playing games or is it just gnome in general?
