Hi all,
my friend uses many screen readers, I'm checking for him orca, but i see that in dictionary web-sites many phonetic symbols are improperly read. For example in www.wordreference.com if you choose english-italian and write "book" as word to translate, the result is: "book /bʊk/ noun..." , so, the "ʊ" symbol is read as "ipsilon" or something like it...(I don't really understand what screen reader says about it). Is there a how-to for setting up orca for this kind of symbols reading? Thank's in advance.
