importing settings from another installation

Hello everyone.
I was going for an upgrade from 9.10 to 10.04, but i couldn't. so i decided to backup my home folder and etc folder.
Now, i've done a complete reinstall. but when i copied my etc folder back in, my computer refused to let me log in.
I've done another full install again. what i need right now is recover my partail downloads into azureus the most. rest is secondary. Can this be done? and if yes, how?

Just copy back your home folder and not your etc folder. It should work fine.

did, but azureus wasn't picking up the incomplete torrents. :-(

Can you find where the .torrent files are for these incomplete torrents? Maybe you can load them manually, and then azureus will probably be able to continue them if the incomplete file is where it would expect.
