View Full Version : Ubuntu 10.04 and Evolution 2.28.3 problem

I am no where near as technically savvy as the original poster, but I have experienced the EXACT same issue with Evolution since upgrading from 9.10 Karmic to 10.04LTS Lucid.

Prior to a fresh install and upgrade I had used Thunderbird, but trying to stay true to Ubuntu, when I did my fresh install 30 days ago, I switched to Evolution, and have grown to love it.

But every since I did the "UPGRADE" through the "UPDATE MANAGER" Evolution will spontaneously close without warning. HELP?

Thanks!

Please do not hijack other peoples threads - while the issue may appear to be exactly the same - there is not guarantee it is such. Also posting there removed that threads unanswered status (people search for threads with zero replies) for no reason other than to add yours.

Please also use black for a whole post - it is not as easy to read for all of us.

I wasn't aware that adding your comments to a thread started by someone else with the same problem was considered hijacking. As always I apologize to the Ubuntu Forums users for my lack of understanding and etiquette.
