i always wanted something like this for linux :)

maybe google will open it and we'll hack it into compiz

looks like a good integration for future droids, looks like a great touch thingie

It doesn't look very friendly in terms of usability. I have tried several 3D desktops on my Windows time. IMO, they are nice play for an hour or so, but they are not very practical for daily use. One of the best is 3DNA (http://www.3dna.net).

Damn, reminds me of that god awful thing Packard bell used to pre- install on new machines, http://toastytech.com/guis/pbnav35.html.

It might be fun with multitouch and Android/ChromeOS powering it...
