View Full Version : [ubuntu] Adding Packages without Internet Access

The computer I have with Linux is having some problems with internet connection. In exploring Ubuntu it seems that I need internet to download pretty much anything at all. Is there a way to use a .tar.bz2 file to install it on Ubuntu? Or do I need a .deb file (which no one really seems to do).

I use keryx (http://www.keryxproject.org) when I need to use another computer to download packages.
