Cookie?

I got the following problem :

I'm a kubuntu dapper flight 5 user and i'm surfing normaly with firefox the ubuntu newest version. After/at the site changes i couldn't login any more with my firefox, if i flush the cookies it looks like it login but after trying to post our going to a new topic i need to relog, i never can stay logged in our post anything with firefox.

I'm also posting on other forums and i have no problems there, also didn't change anything of my settings and i double checked it. Tryed to reinstall firefox and the result was the same.

I have posted this also a while back in dapper forums but didn't had response on it.

Hope you can confirm it to be a bug our a site cookie bug. Because everytime switching to konqueror to post on this forum is nasty ;). I like firefox more then konqueror and opera is broken in dapper.

Works for me perhaps the cookie got borked on your system. Find the name and then maybe do a locate and make sure all instances of it are getting removed. It should then prompt you for the new cookie unless you are allowing all of them.

Had to remove : allow sites to set cookies, now it looks like it works, but only for a few minutes then i have to relog again :(.

Bha never had this before. 1st updated to dapper 5 then i reinstalled it but still have the problem. whoopi love to be unique.

Anyone got a good link to opera for dapper?
