Interested in tooling around w some of the more demanding graphics now that I've upgraded to 10.04. My graphics driver is:

Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller (rev 04)

There is no option to select anything under System->Admin->Hardware

Does this mean I'm just out of luck? Or is there an add-on somewhere?

Thanks

Maybe check the official Intel website for a driver. It should be "distro-agnostic".

AFAIK Intel keeps their driver open...there shouldn't be a proprietary driver.
proprietary drivers can be frustrating anyway.

Yeah, I'd rather not use proprietary if I can help it. But from what I've read there is no way to run the compiz stuff with out it?
