My touchpad is not working in Ubuntu 10.04. It used to work in Ubuntu 9.10. Any ideas?

It started working instantly on reboot. Seemed to to a minor very odd problem! I was running the live CD for the first time and the touchpad didn't work. Then I restarted and boots the live CD again and it worked. And no my eee touchpad lock was not on.
Anyway thread solved.
