hi all
please tell me what is the command to check all my hardware in ubuntu 9.10 because my soundcard doesnt work.
Im newbie with linux. thanks

checkbox-gtk will launch the System Testing, which can also be found in System > Administration.

The right command is lshw. It will give you a detailed list of your hardware as it is detected by Linux.

However if you want help with your soundcard, better to post detailed information on your hardware and system, and what is the exact problem.

I run this problem today and google it. I find this command that meet my need for hardware checking.
lspci -v
hope it will helps. :)
