CSS extend sidebars

Im currently trying to extend the two sidebars on my site(http://carleedolphinaura) down to the bottom of the page(just to make it look nice)

Im horrible at CSS, so could you guys take a look?

Create a background image with the same width as your content and with five sections along the width proportionate to your columns(and the column separators). Repeat it along y direction through out the page. That is the only way I know.
