The network icon in the upper right, by the clock got removed somehow (I think my mouse clicked it off). Can anyone tell me how to put it back? Sorry, I'm still new at this, only been using Ubuntu for a couple months now, but been in the IT field for over 15 years.

Thanks,

Right click the panel, add to panel, and look for the "notification area"

or, if the notification area isn't missing, hit Alt+F2 and run 'nm-applet'

Thanks guys. I figured it was something simple. I was looking for Network something, didn't think Notification Area.
