Hi all,
so after much fun and learning I have got my system running in 64-bit AND smp. I installed the aforementioned game and after installing the correct libraries, linking to libSDL 64-bit, and editing my ut2004 script to point to the 64-bit version I gave the game a try. I thought at first I was lagging but that turned out to not be the case. It is very hard for me to move in the game, what I mean is that i try to move forward and it the game glitches and I am unable to move.

Any thoughts?

My system is as follows:
XP X2 3800+
1GB RAM
6600GT video card

Sorry I can't help you out with your problem but since you've been able to do the install maybe you can help with mine. I just got UT2004 and am running P4 2.4 1 gig ram. Plenty of capacity but I can't figure out how to install the game. I look at the directory and I see the linux install file but for a different Dist. I assume since it's a .sh file. Can you help me out?

.sh is a script file and is not distro specific it, it can run (hopefully) on every linux distros.

sudo sh <paths>/<name of the file>.sh

eg.
sudo sh /media/cdrom/ut2004.sh

Did you install nvidia driver and tested them that it worked?

Aaahh! I'm a real newbee at this. Ok.. I did install it under wine last night. Of course, it doesn't run. More tweeking to do than I know how at this point. I'll uninstall and try it natively! Thanks.
