Hi All,

I'm still a Linux-newbie so bare with me.

I've had a triple boot setup working before, as follows:

Mac OS X Leopard
Windows 7 Beta
Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04

I lost my Windows recently when the Beta ran out and the crash-every-2-hrs problem started popping up. Now I'm just running a dual-boot with OSX and Ubuntu Jaunty.

I now have an authentic version of Windows 7 that I wish to install over the old partition so I have triple-boot again. Problem is I'm pretty sure Windows 7 will overwrite the MBR.

At the moment I am booting Linux using LILO (GRUB doesn't work for some inexplicable reason?) from the partition. I am wondering if I install Windows 7 will this mess up the current rEFIT setup? Or because I have LILO installed on the partition it should be OK?

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. If I have to reinstall ubuntu then I'll probably upgrade to 9.10. It's just a pain because I've finally patched and hacked this version to fit my macbook how I like it and I'm not looking forward to doing it again.

Many thanks in advance. Looking forward to your suggestions. :)
