Bricked Iphone

Hello dudes,

Here, my gf made an itunes 9 update and also updated her jailbroken iphone... the rest is story (insert insults and curses to steve jobs here).

There are thousand sites and sources of info about how to unbrick these things and nothing seems to work. Your help on this would be greatly appreciated :(

The phone is an old 8gb iphone, updated to the latest firmware.
Already tried with the uber famous blackra1n app but it does not seem to work. Upon reboot, the phone gets back to its bricked state.

I will wait patiently for your aid

Put it on ebay and get a phone that doesn't require you to hack it to get the functionality you need.

If you hate apple so much, why would you buy an iphone? There are plenty of other and arguably better smart phones out there.
