i just installed ubuntu 9.10 on my compaq and my wireless isnt working anymore and noticed the light is not on. im new to ubuntu so i need some help..

Had the same issue with 10.4 lucid.... after you install Ubuntu restart computer and insert disk, go though the files and install the .deb files attached and restart....

Took me a hour to figure that one out!
