View Full Version : [gnome] Scheduled Tasks in Ubuntu Involving Mouse Movements and Key Strokes
April 14th, 2010, 09:44 PM
I am wondering if there is a way to schedule a task that involves moving the mouse and key strokes. For example, if I wanted to have the computer click an icon, type something and press enter when the computer starts up, how would I do that? I know about gnome-schedule, but I don't think you can involve mouse movements or key strokes. If I am wrong, let me know.

while I have no idea how to achieve a scheduled event with mouse input, we might be able to get you the desired results if we had more specifics. There could be a way to achieve your desired result without a mouse.
