Last night I was feeling "chatty" and decided I'd try to answer forum posts. I chose the installation group, because I've already been through the wringer on grub, grub2, etc.

When I finally logged, there was one guy that was supposed to be downloading a good iso copy, so he could get a good install.

The first thing I did today was check to see how he was coming along. There is no record of me in the conversation. I searched for every post with my name, none of the help I gave last night is there, no messages in my inbox, no warnings, nothing.

I looked closer and found that in one of the threads, my posts were gone without even a "moved" note.
Is this an anomaly or was it intentional?

Search for your posts in your public profile. Click your username -> View Public Profile -> Statistics -> Find all posts ...

How did you do that? There they are, in the list. I just did a search on "drreed" and the only ones I found had little to do with anything technical.

Actually, they were all in the cafe. AH HAH! I'll bet I didn't make sure my search included the correct groups.

Thanks, now I'll go see if that person ever got Ubuntu running . . .
