I bought this board, here (http://www.foxconnchannel.com/product/motherboards/detail_spec.aspx?ID=en-us0000402), and now looking for memory (below):

Supported Memory: Dual channel DDR2 1066/800/667/533 x 4 DIMMs, Max. 8GB

Is a single 2G memstick better, or is 2 1G sticks better - same brand, speed, same all other specs???

EDIT:
And should I go with buffered? Unbuffered? Error -correcting? Non ECC?

I don't game - but I do play MPEG-2 videos pretty well, with some lower end hardware right now...

Get 2x1GB sticks. That chipset is designed for dual channel memory, if you only run 1 sittk you only get single channel memory.

It would still work, but you lose quite a bit of memory bandwidth.
