HI all,

I am trying to soilve an issue with overscan on My sony Bravia LCD 40" tv.

Hardware

Giada N10 Here for Specs (http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/3050/giada_slim_n10_nvidia_ion_nettop_extremely_small_a nd_stylish/index2.html)
Video; GeForce 9400M
Sony Bravia 40"W
Mythbuntu 9.10 (XFCE)
Nvidia driver - 185, also tried 190 & 195

Connection - HDMI (Myth tv works well with both Audio & Video, although i had to adjust the screen size in myth).

On a new install (after fixing default NVIDIA installation and an .ICEauthority issue) the desktop is larger than the screen size in 1080P.

I can fix the Mythtv session but this doesnt fix the xfce desktop. It almost thinks that the screen is physically 41" not 40.

I have seen threads pertaining to CRT and 8400GS, so i started a new thread.

BTW i have another pc connected to the same tv through DVI to HDMI running Mythbuntu 9.10 and a older Nvidia (7400gs from memory) card which works flawlessly.

Any ideas which way to jump.

Thanks

Roger

There is another thread which helps a little; but still open to suggestions.
