Hi!
I have big problems with that. I am using Ubuntu 9.10 on P4 3.0ghz, 2gb DDR1 400mhz RAM, Radeon 9600 pro and I have Genius Trek 310 webcam which doesn't work at all in Ubuntu 9.10
I am getting very bizzare video from camera (various distortions) but Ubuntu 9.10 has detected my web cam.
I used a lot of tools (thanks to Google) but I didn't managed fix anything. Does someone know solution?

Cheers

Have you tried Cheese?

it should work, but the colours might be off.

I don't see on this link a solution of this problem.
Does somebody have solution how to manage that this webcam is working?
