In preparation for me switching 100% to Linux, I installed and tried 10.4 Beta and 9.10.

I seem to have some weird wifi problem on both.

I can connect to the wifi network but when I try update or brows the web or anything internet related it's like i'm not connected.

Cant contact server bla bla blah..

What could be wrong? It worked perfectly fine in older versions of Ubuntu.

I got a CNet Wifi card with the Ralink RT61 chipset.

Thanks in advance,

Hi Viiral, the RT61 chipset is known for problems. There are plenty of threads for this. Just search for the keyword "RT61"
