Got DF2?

I got the game Delta Force 2 from Novalogic and i have played this multiplayer for years, since it came out in 1999. Anyway, i really want to be able to play this game, and im going to be installing kubuntu on this system soon. Does any one on here have df2 and play it? Otherwise.. can some one PLEASE walk me through the process of installing it. It is windows based and i have no clue about wine and ive heard bad things about wine :confused: . Ive heard to use another program, sry cant remember name either, but ive heard wine does not work with all programs.:-k

Just in case there are other df2 (Delta Force 2) lovers on Ubuntu out there .
I only just started using wine myself, for Counterstrike 1.6, it works really well and df2 is listed as Gold on the wine website (works well with few bugs):

The wine website has good tutorials on how to get wine working and use it http://www.winehq.org/.
I hope that this general pointing in the right direction helps somebody.
