Does not rhyme well in some places. But here is:
Midnight calling,
Complex resolving,
We are nearing
The perfect ten.
Bugs are fixing,
Developers risking,
Date is nearing
the 29th.
Our freedom and that quest for light.
Will last until the Judgement night.
Forget the Windows and Mr. William.
Let's just give them a "kill -9". (Note: Intended to be read as "kill minus nine", and read "minus" the german way, "mee-nus")
Pidgin for chatting,
Foxy for surfing,
Or, well,
Maybe, Empathy+Chrome. (Note: Meant to be read as "Empathy Chrome")
There is a lot of
Great soft in this world.
Our purpose
Is this soft's life.
We know Ubuntu
Is for the human
And not for kinda
Huge monster of brains.
This was my poem,
Inspired by people,
Written for people,
And for myself.
----
To be continued. Maybe.

I wrote this while listening to "Devils Never Cry" by "Shawn McPherson". Google that out. You'll also find that this thingy is sing-able. :P

Great poem but wish you could make it more timeless by not mentioning the release date maybe squeeze in the release cycle.

Great poem but wish you could make it more timeless by not mentioning the release date maybe squeeze in the release cycle.

Date is nearing
the 29th.
Thought of replacing it with
"They just have to
Make it on time", but for some reason did not :D
