Mmm, Hello. I'm really new in all this and well... I installed (long time ago) Ubuntu 7.10 for testing in a machine I wasn't currently using and the graphics worked just great (my card is a Sis 650). But recentlly I've been update to 9.10 (via fresh instalation) and is not supporting my graphics; only at 800X600. I modify xorg.conf for especifying a higger resolution and works up to 1024x678.

Well, I want to know if there's some how to get my graphic card working again.

Thanks, and sorry about my english. :)

Are you using the sis driver? Try with vesa or the other way around. As you should know by now, SIS cards are in most cases slow with bad driver support.
