I am attaching a screenshot of Pyscripter which I tried for debugging my python code. It is in MS Windows though.

If you look at the lower part you can see the debugger shows variable values. Anything in Linux like that ??

For linux I use UliPad and I found it very nice.
You can edit, debug, you have syntax highlight, code completion, python console, it is perfect for developing with python and it has even django template highlight

I hope this will help recognize the work done by Limodou.
