Hey forum.
I have a mainboard ATI HD4200 and i have dropping frames while playing videos, even SD or streaming like on youtube.I also see like cuts in the videos.I have the installed the 10.3 driver from the ATI website, because i couldn't get the open-source working for some reason.
Anyway on the Win 7 partition i can get HD videos playing with no issue

The glxgears shows just 350-430fps.I know that's not a trusted benchmark, but researching the forum i saw users with over 1000fps with less powerful configurations.

Anyway i have a Athlon64 x2 2.5ghz with 1.5GB Ram and 512mb dedicated to the HD4200.Running ubuntu 9.10
