Hi,

I use a MacBook for most of my computing, but have a perfectly good HP laptop running ubuntu. I was wondering... is there a way to use my ubuntu machine as a second monitor for my mac. A friend said that there is a way... he just couldn't remember what it was.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Luke

P.s. This may be in the wrong forum... apologies if it is. 'Hardware and Laptops' was the closest match I could think of!

Unplug the monitor from the HP and plug it into the Mac. :)

It's a macbook and a laptop.......

Where do you want to start "unplugging" monitors? :lolflag:

Great - I'll just get on and do that. Small problem:

The HP... is a Laptop!

Sorry, I missed that laptop thing......

I don't know of any program to do this and I've used lots of remote applications. I use synergy a lot on my home network to control 3 computers at once. Put I don't think that is what you're looking for.
