hello there,
i am running ubuntu dapper.
i am a virtual host for some of my friends websites with apache2 name based virtual hosting.
simple stuff i have for them .. php mysql etc. my dns server is zoneedit.com because i get a new ip everytime i reboot.

i need to set up a pop/imap/smtp service for two of the domains that i am hosting. i was trying to get hula to work, but it dies everytime i reboot, cant restart it, but it works when i freshly install it. anyway, i have been looking over vhcs and wonder what you guys take on it is. i need something relativly simple to set up, because i dont know how to configure an email server, especially to provide for multiple domains.

i want a couple of my friends to manage their own websites via ftp.

whadday think, all, will this package do what i need it too? what are some of your experiences with it ?

thanks very much for any advice.

DO NOT USE VHCS. I've been using it for months and have been hacked repeatedly. The developers are very aware of the problem and have not released a working fix yet! There is a very easy exploit for it that allows anyone full access to your system.

You can read my writeup on the issue at my blog - VHCS 2.4.7.1 Pro (http://christer.homeip.net/index.php/vhcs-v2471-pro/)
