I've been using mythbuntu for a while now and while it supports my tv card, since kernel 2.6.28 this card (the nebula electronics digitv pci) has had problems for me and others. I'd like to know what DVB-T cards currently on sale in the uk have been well supported from kernels 2.6.28+.

It doesn't matter if it is pci, pci-x or usb. Analogue capture doesn't matter either. A dual tuner would be nice but isn't a necessity. Decent software on the Windows side would also be nice. A remote control would also be good but not essential.

Thanks for any advice.

I used the Nova T-500 dual tuner for quite a while, and it worked well, (but recently I switched to satellite to get HD)

Hi,
I can also vouch for nova t 500. It was a while ago, but it worked well. Since then have replaced it with twin hauppauge DVB-S for HD - and they work well also.

Thanks, Steve.

My Nebula died about a year ago, I replaced it with a TD-500 (seems to be more commonly available than T-500), I can't comment on the windows sw but it works great with Mythbuntu.

Yes, +1 on the Nova TD-500 PCI - much better than the HVR hybrid series. It works here in italy with HD H.264 channels also.

Thanks looks like I'll get a Nova TD 500 when I have some money.
