OK, I was given a Control 4 home theather box. I could not do anything with it an I read some where it looks to need special software to setup, like only the dealer has. I could see in it on the network, but could not do anything with it.

I took it apart and it has a special circuit board with two USB ports inside and one has a flash drive in it. So, since I have this I was thinking about installing MythTV on it and giving it a shot. So, I might install from a Flash Drive, to a flash drive? Or can I burn from my computer to the flash drive and install it and close up the box?

Anyone ever try anything like this? not sure how I am going to setup the front end on this. Assuming I need a TV for a monitor and a keyboard in the back USB for control.

Still thinking, The Flash drive in it says it's not formated when in a windows computer. Maybe copy the ISO Mythbuntu 9.10 over to a flash drive, install in 2nd port and try and install remote over the network?
