View Full Version : [kubuntu] Multiple networks with same SSID not showing

Hi all, I am running Kubuntu, and the knetwork manager is giving me a few problems. At the school I go to, they have routers stationed all throughout the buildings, all with the same SSID. Normally this works fine, however in one of my classes, the closest router is a problem, It works for a few minutes, and then connection just drops. Normally I just connect to the second closest access point, and that has worked fine until now.

Knetwork manager seems to only show the closest network with that name, and it doesn't show other networks with the same name further away. I need a way to get knetworkmanager to show all available networks, is there a way to do this?

I know that wicd supports this, however for some reason, wicd has issues installing on my computer and ended up breaking stuff last time I tried, so I need to be able to do this without wicd.
