I can't seem to get it installed.

I've been able to get the first 3 installed, but the last one is giving me troubles. I've installed it several times, but it isn't picked up as installed... Is there any way to bypass this in the Sony Vegas setup?

PS: I'm using CrossOver in Mac OS X...

Oh yeah, if I click on the "Install" button, it'll say "Requirements not met. Press OK to exit."

in future ask on the crossover forums, this forum here is for WineHQ/Ubuntu Wine

WineHQ was no help, since I'm not using Wine by itself (it's rather slow compared to CrossOver for things like Steam or WinRAR). CrossOver probably won't help since I'm using a trial.

CodeWeavers won't help because this isn't one of their supported applications.

Does anyone know how I might be able to get this working?

If you're using WineHQ wine, post the terminal output.

If you're using crossover then I can't help because I don't use it, this forum is for Wine.

Looking at the AppDB, the previous versions of Sony Vegas Pro don't run very well so it's possible that it just won't work until the bugs are fixed.

This (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=16608) guy got 8.0 to work... I can get to the splash screen, it just crashes at "Initializing Video Services". There has to be some library or something I could use.
