Problems connecting to Ubuntu machine

Hi all!

I have a webserver running in a Ubuntu machine in the 8082 port. I am trying to connect to it with a Windows XP but I always get a

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

Any idea of what can be happening?? At the other way around it works... :(
