Hi All

I am new to ubuntu (coming from debian). I'd like to remove the ubuntu Main Menu (the thing with menu bar on the left with [favorite][Files & Folders] etc..), because I choose to have the "Main Menu' application started as an entry into the top pannel bar.

I don't know how to remove it, I looked in <system><startup appliaction> I was hoping find a ubuntu (or gnome) app there to cross out but is sounds it is not there.

Thanx in advance
Cheers,
Phi

I removed mine, and IIRC, it's called the netbook remix launcher and the other one is the go home applet. You should be able to find those in your startup apps.

Thanx Blur, it worked just fine.

My problem was to know the name of the application to stop in the startup.
Now all works like I want to.
Cheers
