build problems

every binary compiled will not work, but give me a black screen & I am forced to press control option delete and sends me back to the login screen - GUI or text.
Is there anybody else who has build problems?
I'm on a 400 G4 1gb ram 20gb hd & a 40gb hd (osx)

what are you trying to compile?

control alt delete restarts to xserver (graphics system). if you want to stop a program you can use the process manger, or in a terminal
killall binary-name

Mupen64 , Yabause & AlephOne (open source port of the Marathon series), I've also tried fceultra and got the same problem.
