Is there any way to install the new theme for Ubuntu on Breezy? It doesn't seem like the creators have submitted it to Gnome-Look.org or the likes yet.
The new icon set would be nice to test too. Is it out in the wild yet?

You might be able to add dapper sources to do it from and then delete them when you are done. There is a risk of breaking your system if you do that.

It seems to work at least, but the window border seems to be slightly more tinted towards brown than in the screenshots, but maybe they've updated the theme since the release of Flight 5 by now.
Edit: Don't do this unless you think you can handle major breakage. When I tried to downgrade it insisted to remove all packages depending on libglib2.0-0 and libglib2.0-data which it grabbed from the Dapper-repositories.
I didn't, so I just threw the Breezy disc in, and here I am a hour later - and no more nosing around those repositories for me before they go public. ^^

Thanks!
Is there any way to get the metacity engine too? This seems to only install the GTK-engine. The Clearlooks metacity engine seems quite similar, but I think it differs a bit.
For some reason the theme looks more reddish/brown than the orange theme featured in the screenshots too. Has it been updated since those screenshots were taken due to the massive reaction against the orange theme perhaps?

Yes it has been updated and it will be updated again. Stay tuned. :) That's what development releases are for after all, gathering feedback and tweaking... It's too bad that on this forum ten pages were wasted for mindless flaming before the real feedback came in. ;)
As for the metacity theme, it should be in the ubuntu-artwork package (/usr/share/themes/Human/metacity-1/*).

Ubuntu-artwork can be found here: http://packages.ubuntu.com/cgi-bin/download.pl?arch=all&file=pool%2Fmain%2Fu%2Fubuntu-artwork%2Fubuntu-artwork_9_all.deb&md5sum=622091fb8f585c69d787cc2e203ba65a&arch=all&type=main
Actually, I liked the colour theme of clearlooks better since it was more distinct, but this looks great too, and I'll keep checking the new versions out and using them. ;)
