repositories offline?

Last night I reinstalled Kubuntu and tried to do an update with my local repository (an ftp server at Portland State University). This got the ignore (Ign) message, so I tried another local repository (in Utah). This wouldn't work. So I tried the US archive. No luck there, either. Then I tried the archive without the US before it with no luck. In the past, I've had good luck with the PSU mirror and the regular archive (without country code). I tried again this morning with no luck. Any ideas on what's going on and when the servers will be back up?

very odd! i hit the kubuntu.org repository for the kde 3.5.1 upgrade both last night and this morning but no repsonse from the ubuntu repositories. maybe i'll get better response after i get home tonight.
