Hi, can someone help me find some drivers and whatever I need to get my printer working? Its not in the database, it is a Brother Fax-2440c. There are linux drivers for it, but when I try to install I can't. Can someone help me locate the drivers I need? I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 64bit.

Look here (http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public_s/id/linux/en/download_prn.html)

Download both lpr and cupswrapper .deb packages.

You have to follow the install instructions, especially the prerequisites for Ubuntu 64 bit, for your 64 bit machine.

I think the drivers are for 32-bit machines,so you have to install 32-bit libraries to get them to work on 64-bit machines.

Good Luck
