Sleep?

Hey Guys,
I am running a ubuntu server with 9.10 64bit on it. Everything is working but it seems like if I leave it alone for a little bit it goes to sleep and I have to ping it to wake it up. Once I ping it I can SSH and accesses the site again. Any Ideas?

I can't think of any reason ubuntu server would do that. Maybe it's your bios. It may have a setting regarding power management.
