Hi,
can anyone tell me how I can get my eithernet (wired) to work after selecting Airport as my prefered Network-Connection during the Installation?
I'm on a 667MHz G4 TiBook and *nearly* everything worked "just our of the box".
Thing is the Airport connection just works fine, but I just can't seem to find the eithernet port. In the "DeviceManager" "UniNorthGmac (Sun GEM)" shows up, but "Device" and "Capabilities" are marked as "Unknown".
In the "Network Settings"-Tool it just doesn't show up.
The module for SunGEM seems to be loaded as it shows up in lsmod...
What do I miss?
How do I get the Ethernet-port to show up, be started on bootup or manualy...
