Ubuntulooks colors (Metacity titlebar)?

Hi!

Yesterday I upgraded the "ubuntu-artwork" package in Dapper and I noticed that the Human theme now uses Clearlooks-like GTK and Metacity themes. The new orange window titlebar looked so much better than the unfriendly brown one.

But as of ubuntulooks version 0.9.5 this nice orange titlebar seems to have been reverted to an ugly brown one (sorry, my opinion).

Which one do you like better, the "old new one" or the current 0.9.5 colors?

anyway, i prefer the old one. don't know why, i prefer the new one, but the older looks more "human"

Select Human in the theme manager and then reboot (ignoring the funky colors). Once you do that, it will work.

Same thing here, log out and in, and it'll be fixed

It seems like ubuntulooks has changed again with 0.9.6. This time to a more distinct reddish/brown colour. I like it.

I think this version looks great, and I've never been a fan of Human. For now, I'm actually keeping it. ^_^

looks totally different in dapper 0.98 with xgl

for one, 0.9.8 is a diff color
two, the fix for xgl was added to the gtkrc
