Hi all,
I've installed Ubuntu 9.04 from the CD on my Intel Core Duo Macbook Pro (first generation). All was well, and wanted to upgrade, so I updated the distro to 9.10. My only problem now is that the touchpad doesn't work. I can plug in a mouse and use it fine, so that's ok, but no touchpad/trackpad.

I've searched the forums but couldn't find any threads relating to this. Can someone point me to a thread or perhaps a link for a solution?

Thanks very much!

I can only give you the quite general hint that a lot (or at least some) people have experienced a lot trouble with 9.10 after upgrading from an earlier version.

Most of them were helped by installing 9.10 from scratch instead. I don't know if that's an option for you, but I guess it might be good to know.

have a look here (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MactelSupportTeam/CommunityHelpPages), find your model and see Touchpad stuff.

Hmm, it seemed to have sorted itself out! Thanks for the replies and help anyway!
