Hi, community.
I've made a similar thread before regarding Karmic, but it were never actually solved. It's tidier if I make a new thread for this.
I'm at a small office with two workstations running Ubuntu (will expand to 4-5 soon), and an eMac running Leopard. I want these to authenticate to the server, also running Ubuntu. That means, I want all the users and their home folders on the server.
There's no need for us to add Windows compatibility, but it would be great if the Mac could authenticate too.
Could someone be so nice to give me exact instructions on how to solve this in Lucid? Is it easier than in Karmic (where I never actually got it to work)?
Thank you.
