Is anyone else having Gwibber issues?

I was enjoying the new look and feel, but I cant get it to run anymore.

It doesn't start at the moment, there is a bugreport for this on launchpad already. Just wait for the update :)

Mine stopped working back in Alpha 1. Whenever a foreign bug pops up, I just submit it to LaunchPad, and I also regularly check the boxes that say "This bug affects me, too!"

I assume it at least raises the urgency of these issues. I really would like to be able to use Gwibber again.

The latest one I reported:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gwibber/+bug/532189

desktopcouch has been broken for the last 2 days which means gwibber doesn't work. It should be fixed later on today.

Still takes a long time to start though. Not really smooth yet!

Does that fix the SIGDEV problem I've been having too?
It's like everybody had the same issue?

I will see that tonight. Can't wait!

The desktopcouch updates seem to have solved the crashes, but there are lot of important old bugs still open. Those three:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/gwibber/+bug/400120
https://bugs.launchpad.net/gwibber/+bug/420953
https://bugs.launchpad.net/gwibber/+bug/528249

are particular showstoppers for me.

After the update, I'm still getting the same old bugs.

Any fixes I can do on my part to circumvent it?
