I thought I'd see what the community thought about this useing a poll. I voted for the redesign which looks like it's going to win by a landslide.

The new design doesent look that different from the old one. Just a little more colour and one part rearanged a bit.

I never even check the main page. I just type "wp whatever" on Firefox's location bar.

In case you are not aware of it, you can also add wikipedia to the firefox search menu by clicking on "add engines"

The wp method is a lot quicker. Also, it goes directly to the link instead of going to the search results.

But that's double the work for your internet connection. First, it has to search on google, find and THEN redirect you. "wp something" goes directly to a wikipedia entry or wp's search page.
