Ok, I know this seems like a really simple questions, but for the life of me i can't find the Visual Effects - Extra options.

The deal is I installed Compiz and now want to enable the visual effects but when i go to Applications > System I do not see Preferences > Appearance > Visual Effects like every tutorial tells me i should. I did a search with Application Finder and found Appearance. I don't think this is the correct Appearance application though, it only has Style, Icons, Font and Settings Tabs.

So, I am at a loss as to where I go from here. I've looked all over online for a similar problem or something stating if this option has been removed with no luck.

I'm sure I'm just over looking something simple and could use someones help here.
Thanks everyone!

(I'm running xubuntu 9.10 on an Acer R1600. I have the latest Nvidia Ion driver installed too.)

You need to have Compiz Config Settings Manager installed. It runs fine on my Nvidia ION PC (Revo 3610). Just look for it via Synaptic.
